Celebrate the spirit of summer with an afternoon of red, white, and blue fun at Ships of the Sea. Stars and Stripes Celebration brings together a picnic-style atmosphere, museum access, live entertainment, games, and sweet treats for a lively kickoff to America’s 250th.
Guests will be able to explore the museum, enjoy the grounds, play games, take photos, and spend the day soaking in a fun and festive maritime celebration.

When does the event begin?
Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum will be open from 10 AM–6 PM on July 3rd. Stars & Stripes Celebration activities officially begin at 12 PM and continue throughout the afternoon.
Guests who purchase admission earlier in the day are welcome to explore the museum galleries and gardens before the event begins. Admission is valid for the entire day, and guests may leave and return anytime during operating hours with valid admission.
What does admission include?
Admission includes access to the museum, gardens, and all event activities throughout the day.
Will food be included with admission?
Food, beverages, and frozen treats are not included and will be available for purchase separately.
