Splash on the High Seas is a free family event at Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum, created in partnership with Safe Kids Savannah. Celebrate summer with hands-on art, water-themed games, and refreshing treats—while learning important tips about staying safe in the sun and around water.
Expect hands-on games, safety demonstrations, and interactive stations throughout the garden—including an educational table on the importance of lifejacket use, a station focused on boat safety, and more! Kids will receive grab bags filled with fun items to take home.
Whether you're getting creative or getting soaked, it's a day full of high-seas fun for kids and grownups alike!

Safe Kids Savannah - Memorial Children's Hospital
Safe Kids Savannah is led by The Children’s Hospital at Memorial Health and works to prevent childhood injuries through education and community outreach. Their programs—like car seat checks and safety workshops—help families stay informed and empowered.
For Splash on the High Seas, Safe Kids Savannah is leading the fun with engaging activities focused on sun and water safety, including an educational table on the importance of lifejacket use and key tips for safe boating.

King of Pops started with a single pushcart, a few good ingredients, and a mission to create Unexpected Moments of Happiness. With nearly 500 pop flavors to their name and a deep commitment to local farms and sustainability, King of Pops brings joy with every bite.
At Splash on the High Seas, the Savannah franchise—led by Josie Ramirez—will be serving up refreshing treats made with simple, wholesome ingredients. Josie has been “slinging pops” since 2022 and brings plenty of sunshine and smiles to every event. Whether you're into bold flavors or fruity classics, there's a pop for everyone—just look for the rainbow umbrella!
